Phil Brüll
Senior lecturer in the field of Political Psychology
Senior lecturer at FPN, Maastricht University. Here he obtained his bachelor’s and master’s degrees (2006-2011). His expertise is in Political Psychology, applied Social Psychology & applied Social Neuroscience. He is also a member of the Maastricht Centre for Human Rights. He was involved in the Behavior-Change Intervention for EU Energy Retrofitting Program by the Maastricht University Green Office and again Behavior-Change interventions consultant for the University of Parakou.
Prof. Dr. Thomas Conzelmann
Professor of International Relations
Professor of International Relations at FASoS, Maastricht University, and currently serves as Director of its Graduate School. He has been Associate Dean of Research at FASoS from 2009 to 2013 and from 2018 to 2020. PhD (magna cum laude) at University of Mannheim (1995-2000), he also held positions at the Mannheim Centre for European Social Research (MZES, 2000-2001) and at the University of Darmstadt (2001-2007).


Prof. Dr. Piet Eichholtz
Professor of Real Estate Financing and Investments
Professor of Real Estate Financing and Investments at SBE, Maastricht University. Here he also got in PhD in finance (1988-1994). He is also co-founder of Finance Ideas and involved in new initiatives for institutional investors in the fields of ESG, housing corporations and healthcare institutions. The combination of practice and research ensures that he has in-depth knowledge and experience in the fields of sustainability, financing, and real estate.
Prof. Dr. Roberta Haar
Professor of Foreign Policy Analysis & Transatlantic Relations
Roberta N. Haar is Professor of Foreign Policy Analysis and Transatlantic Relations, Maastricht University, and the Research Director at University College Maastricht. Among the others, her most recent publications include “Foreign Policy Change from an Advocacy Coalition Framework Perspective”, published in International Studies Review. A full list of publications can be found on her official University profile page. She regularly gives presentations on American Foreign Policy and Transatlantic Relations to a wide spectrum of audiences, from the professional to the high school level, through her affiliation with Maastricht University’s Teenz program.


Christian Kerckhoffs
Senior lecturer in the field of Quantitative Economics
Lecturer at SBE, Maastricht Univerity, since 1993. As a student, he was part of the first Maastricht University graduates’ generation and then worked as a researcher at the Central Planning Bureau (1992-1993). His main academic interests are Growth theory, labour economics, and unemployment duration. Trendsetter within the SBE faculty and among his records, the first lecturer at SBE with a fan page.
Prof. Dr. Niels Philipsen
Professor of Shifts in Private and Public Regulation (Erasmus University) and Associate Professor in Law and Economics (Maastricht University)
Associate Professor in Law and Economics at the Law Faculty, Maastricht University. He studied economics at the UM School of Business and Economics and subsequently obtained his PhD at the Faculty of Law. Besides publishing in academic journals and books, he conducted third-party research for inter alia the European Commission, OECD, several Dutch ministries and the International Bar Association. He is also Professor at the Erasmus School of Law and Adjunct Professor at the China University of Political Science and Law.
