About the event
Tatjana Schulze is a bachelor alumna from Maastricht University's School of Business and Economics and afterwards completed her Master's in Financial Economics at University of Oxford's Saïd Business School. Currently, she is a PhD candidate in Financial Economics there as well.
She has done research at the European Central Bank (ECB), the Bank for International Settlements (BIS), and at Banco de México.
With her, we will discuss the macroeconomics prospects of 2022 in a non-technical way, so everyone can understand the discussion. Is inflation temporary? What is the result of increasing interest rates on debt and bank profitability?
Next to that, she will also talk about her career steps and give advice for those interested in pursuing a PhD and/or career in central banking / international organisations.
Our guest will join online, therefore it is also possible to join this event online.
